Is there statutory AI regulation in the UK I must follow for assurance?

There is not currently statutory AI regulation in the UK, but existing law still applies — including UK GDPR, the Equality Act 2010 and sector-specific rules. Assurance helps you demonstrate compliance with those obligations and with organisational governance.

While there is not currently statutory AI regulation in the UK, there are existing regulations that are relevant for AI systems. For example, systems must adhere to existing regulation such as UK GDPR, the Equality Act 2010 and other industry-specific regulation.
